What a day, lads! Absolute scenes in London today.
If you’ve been following the updates, you know we planned something massive—a proper treasure hunt across Central London with a £1,800 prize fund up for grabs! We were up bright and early to hide 10 red envelopes in some iconic spots.
The Mission: 10 Envelopes, One Big Prize The plan was simple: hide the envelopes, drop the clues, and wait for you lot to find them. 6 out of 10 envelopes had a cheeky £50 note tucked inside. But the real jackpot? Being the first to find me later in the day and saying the magic phrase: “Carleboy, buy me a shot!”
We hit up some proper landmarks—Nelson’s Column, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, and even tried to be sneaky near the National Gallery. It wasn’t easy though; London was trying us! Locked phone boxes, events being set up… it was a bit of a graft to find good hiding spots, but we got it done.
The Chaos Unfolds By the time we sat down to edit and post the locations, messages started flooding in. You lot were already out hunting! We had people checking every spot—Green Park, Berkeley Square, Chinatown—all smashed.
One legend even found an envelope and came to find us, but I was so busy I forgot to get his name on camera! (If you’re reading this, mate—drop a comment, you’re a legend!).
The Showdown at Carnaby Street 🍻 At 6 PM, I dropped the final location: Carnaby Street. I was hiding out with a few mates, waiting to see who would turn up first.
And wow, it was close! The winner turned up and secured the £1,000 grand prize! 🏆 The runner-up was literally 10 seconds behind him—absolutely gutting, but he still walked away with £250, as did the third-place winner.
Giving Back The best part? Meeting everyone. We even had a lad who was homeless join in, found a clue, and got himself £50—that’s what it’s all about. By the end of the night, I’d given away the cash, my t-shirt, and even my cap.
